I remember back when I was a kid, my mom had stopped by to see Cousin Kate, and she was upset becasue she had cataracts and could not get her drivers license renewed. Someone told her to eat raw pumpkin seeds, and so she did, and the next time we visited her, she was all happy becasue her eyesight was better and she had her license renewed.
I don’t know if it helps everyone, but I do try do add pumpkin seeds to the fiber cakes, and sometimes to other things we eat.

I need to get some pumpkin seeds, like yesterday. Thanks Yvonne.

So Florida is flat lands ….its undulating where I live but not much in the way hills till we get to the rangers that are almost continuous
from what we call “the flinders “ to Adelaide, ( about 400 kms) it’s very dry , scientists found dinosaur 🦕 bones there

We’ve been to various parts of the flinders and walked kms exploring …..many 100’s years old indigenous paintings are found there ,but sadly
most had been fenced last time we visited due to vandalism

As Alfred Hitchcock would say, "Good Evening"... I'm alive, my car registration went down by $90, I don't have to get it smogged anymore (I can't remember why, but who cares?), I have a Pizza in the oven, and my favorite Nurse told me I'm cute. (I guess I still got it?) So for today, life is good. 🍀

That all sounds great, @Axel Slingerland , and a pizza in the oven is a happy dinner !
Having the car registration go down is a good thing, too, as far as I can tell. And fuel is coming down almost everywhere now, so maybe it will also cost you less to fill up the tank. Some places are reporting that regular gas is under $2 a gallon now. Not that cheap here yet, but I am sure it will get there.

It was my first time making dough from scratch and I thought it would be a nuke. But I followed Cindy's recipe and it was very good. Even though I should have let it rise longer. We topped it off with butter grilled chicken, a ton cheeze, and a few slices of pepperoni on top. It was delish!!!

Not here. Other than typically going a few pennies either way. We haven't seen $2 gas for since Slick Willy was President. Although because of some Shell credit card sale based on how much you spend on qualified items, and we got a tank of gas for 11¢ a gallon. That was when Cindy went full tilt Gorilla mode at Kohl's and got a pile of Kohl's Cash.

The average price in Bakersfield (I never buy gas in Edison as I don't go to mini-marts with no name gas) is $4.20, but Costco is $3.70 today. If I were to buy gas today it would be the third time is has been lower than the previous one. But since prices there have been consistently going down and believe it or not, they don't raise prices around holidays here, it might even be less by the time we get over there.

We don't have $2 gas here either and I think we have the lowest gasoline taxes in the nation. I think it is about $3.30 or so. Diesel prices, however, is lower than gasoline and that is not usually the case at this time of year as diesel competes with heating oil for distillate. In general, our prices for everything would horrify most of the Lower 48. Meat for some reason can be the exception. Bread is about $4.00 a loaf unless on sale. Premium bread is much more.
