Gave it a good hit today. started from the rear and worked my way forward. hooked up transmission supports first, then did the drive shaft, replaced the transmission seal first. Got left motor support in, gave it hell, and will get it done; it just takes time.

Still working on it, connecting everything but getting closer. Kind of sore, from crawling in and out underneath it on stands. time consuming, but I will get it; it will run. The motor mounts are in now, and the cherry picker is out.

I cranked it up yesterday, "today" is two weeks since I started, and it runs "fantastic". Strangest thing happened though, after putting engine and trany in; the "linkage rod", on the tranny was running the wrong direction across the tranny crossmember; so I took it off and reconnected it; but left it haft in park and haft in reverse, so while it was running It kicked into reverse, and the drivers door was still open, so I ran a long side it, reached in to hit brakes and fell under the truck; as it was fixing to run over me and it hit the fence behind it, I with adrenaline pumping; had jumped up in a couple seconds; and I "managed", to slap floor shifter into park. Whew that was a close one.

I watch Jake out the window; glad I wasn't watching when the truck almost ran over him. It may have sent me to the er.

Jake was putting the cherry picker back up and a metal bed frame xame down on his head and busted a gash in his head. So he poured warm salt water over it. It could use some stitches but we will watch it and keep applying salt.
He needs to get a tetanus shot too. We don's go to doctors much just blood work every year or two.
I could sew it up for him, but he won't let me near his injuries.

Yeah after she reset two of her broken toes and screamed like an animal, she was not doctoring me, her foot turned black so we went to er the next day, and I told the Dr. she put them back in place, he said, well she did a great job, they're right in place, and just laughed.

You could use mosquito bandages or steri-strips to close the wound. Much easier than stitches and stiches aren't used a lot any more for minor wounds in non-stress locations.

LOL Don I was kidding with Jake. I've never did stitches.Although your mosquito bandage a good idea.

Took yesterday off, "pretty much", but today I need to finish fine tuning the engine, and get on the brakes, to make sure I will be able to stop this bad boy.
