Board games

Are you guys fan of board games? I always enjoyed playing them and one of the most played is monopoly. Sadly, not many people around me are fans and it is hard to get them to play with me. I would gladly try new board games but no luck. Recently I saw some very old medieval and Mesopotamia's board games and fell in love with it due to its simplicity. Hnefatafl is one such board game. There are many different versions of the board but let me show you at least one:

I used to play chess quite a lot few years ago. I think I got over 3k played games or so. I would say I am an average player.

I have not played any board games for years and years, not since my kids were growing up and we played board games together as a family. I used to enjoy playing pinochle (card game) but I have not done that for many years either.

When we were kids, my girlfriend and I used to play Monopoly games that lasted for hours, sometimes into the next day. Neither of us had the killer instinct. When I played with my cousin, the game would be over in 30 minutes. She always won.
