Have you ever been bitten by an animal if you have what animal was it?

I came up with this subject today as I got bitten by a horsefly which was painful at the time. It very itchy and sore at the moment hopefully it does not get infected.

Lots of times being bitten by some kind insects. Worst was one of those brown recluse spiders, and my arm got a huge red swollen area that had to be surgically removed, and left a scar on my arm. Other than that bee or wasp stings were the worst from insects.

I have had animals who were biters but was never bitten bad by any of them. The very worst bite was from a copperhead snake, which is a large venomous snake. I didn’t see it under some brush and it attacked and bit me as I walked past. My leg was swollen and I couldn’t walk much on it for about two weeks. I had to keep it elevated as much as possible. It was a terrible and scary experience !

When I was finally able to catch my last cat---in the backyard in town, abandoned by someone---she bit completely through my thumbnail, even with baby teeth. She never tried to bite again for the next 16 years. One time by a German shepherd dog. Left 4 bruise marks on my leg through a heavy winter coat and jeans. I remembered not to run.
