First , we had the people vandalizing Tesla vehicles which are privately owned by Americans, and then we had the protesters torching Tesla dealerships and setting all the vehicles on fire, as well as stopping cars and attacking the drivers and passengers of those cars. Some of the cars attacked had small children inside of the vehicle when they were attacked.
The protestors are being paid to be there, for the most part, and have said that they are being paid, and when their time is up that they were paid for, they just walk off.

Now, we have the Republican Headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico vandalized and set on fire. There is no way to know if this is an isolated event, or if it is the start of more places being vandalized and burned out by arsonists.
I guess the good news is that some of these people have been seen, or caught on camera, and will be arrested and go to prison for what they are doing.

Not a great situation over there. Hope the people that did that stuff will be caught.

That's a total generalization there, Don. Would you think it was ok if someone said all Republicans are criminals, just because of one convicted felon? I'm a Liberal and I don't think that way. I believe in the rule of law.
When even one of the Democrat Party leadership condemns the arson attacks, I will then believe the generalization does not apply.

Ok, when even one of the Republican Party leadership condemns electing a convicted felon for President I'll agree with you. But to be perfectly honest, I seriously doubt either of those will happen. But that doesn't change the fact that saying "Arson is okay for Democrats" is not true. It's no more true than saying "all Republicans are criminals." That is what makes those statements generalizations, the implication that ALL of the members of both parties are criminals. Arsonists are criminals too... But saying all of either one is something they're not is party propaganda.

The recent 'hands off' protests had paid protesters bussed in to show 10s? of thousands of people angry at Musk for DOGE consequences etc.
Why are Democrats fighting the discovery of waste, fraud and abuse? Can it be they are getting kickbacks? Paying for demonstrations?
You are right, one can't make gross generalizations but we know the destruction of Tesla items is not by Republicans. Must keep everyone scared and distracted to keep from discovering who is taking the money.

"Every Conservative Accusation is an Admission."

How's that for a generalization? It's not true, but that's the great thing about politics. There usually isn't much truth in it anyway.

They have found and arrested the man who set the Republican headquarters in New Mexico on fire and tried to burn it down. It turned out that he was the same person who also firebombed the Tesla dealership there.
The picture of him shows a scraggly guy with long hair and bright purple lipstick, so maybe he is another one of the activist trans-people.

Here’s another crazed Democrat off the streets.

Colorado Springs Man Charged with Making Threats Regarding Tesla Owners and the Presidential Cabinet

DENVER – The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado announces that defendant Carl Howard Payne, Jr., of Colorado Springs, was charged with Interstate Communication of Threats.

According to the criminal complaint, on or about March 20, 2025, threatening emails were sent from betweensaltandstart@proton.me to various news media outlets across state lines.

The emails detailed a “Declaration of War” against the 47th Presidential Cabinet of the United States and further described how Tesla owners would be murdered on April 17, 2025, and thereafter, until the death of Elon Musk.

Also on March 20, 2025, Payne sent the same email to ProPublica and Thomson Reuters, both in New York, from Signal user “c”. And on or about April 2, 2025, Payne deposited or caused to be deposited similar threatening letters for delivery by the Postal Service to several insurance companies. The return address on the letters indicated they were from “The White House,” but the letters were postmarked in Denver.

A review of Internet Protocol (IP) address information from Proton Mail, along with other information, indicates that Payne is the user of the Proton Mail account and the Signal account from which the threatening emails originated.

The investigation is being handled by the Denver Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Jasand Mock.

The charges in the complaint are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Case Number: 25-mj-00081-NRN

Glad Colorado is waking up a little bit. Does that make them woke?:geek:

I don't care whether a crazy wingnut is a Democrat / Liberal or a Republican / Conservative... He belongs in Prison or a Whacko Motel. I am a firm believer that we should have a right to own non-military guns (in spite of the ambiguity of the Constitution), but the moment you start using guns for crimes of any kind, you should lose that right.

I think this whole "woke" thing is stupid. To say someone is woke or not based on their political beliefs is almost as stupid as the agenda of any political party. No matter which political party you want to talk about, it's always about the same things. Money, power, racial opinions, etc., and it rarely, if ever, changes.
