The Beartooth Highway is the narrowest, most dangerous highway my partner Gary and I rode on together. We did it after we were working in Yellowstone, and rode from the park to Billings, Montana. It was great when there was no traffic on the road, the view was spectacular, and fortunately traffic was relatively light due to our doing it mid-Fall in that month between Summer and Winter when fewer people go to Yellowstone. So we probably only saw about 100 cars on the ride from the turn off the Park's 8 shaped highways to Billings. But some of them came mighty close to us.Thats neat, We like those backwoods videos too. Also watch the ones about driving through small towns and big cities to see the now and then changes.
After reading thru the post here hubby and I had a good laugh. Not because they were funny but because we knew when you started this forum it probably wasn't for it to be a senior forum with all our boring stories and aches and pains.
I thought of asking my kids and great grand kids to join it to even things out some for you.
I like the young people here, but I do miss all the Seniors from SOC.![]()
