Devotional for 11-21-25

God's answers often come through experience.
Because by knowing instead of just hearing, we get all the feelings
and understanding that can come no other way.

"Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you
great and mighty things, which you do not know."

Jeremiah 33:3

God's Word is even more reliable than a homing pigeon.
What He sends out always serves its purpose.
It never returns empty handed.

"My word...which goes forth from my mouth...will not return
to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire,
and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."

Isaiah 55:11

Devotional for 11-23-25

If you've truly experienced God on a personal level,
you know you can never go back.

"He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done
in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing
of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He
poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior."

Titus 3: 5-6

Devotional for 11-27-25

Any gods created by people are just...wood. Or metal.
Or figments of imagination. But nothing - no one -
can hold a candle to the King of Kings.

"This says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer,
the Lord of hosts: "I am the first and I am the last, and there is
no God besides Me...Do not tremble and do not be afraid;
have I not long since announced it to you and declared it?
And you are My witnesses. Is there a any God besides Me,
or is there any other Rock? I know of none."

Isaiah 44:6, 8

Devotional for 11-28-25

Legacy is valuable in the kingdom of heaven.
Any person who sets the tone for the ones coming after them,
is setting their family up for great blessing.

"The memory of the righteous is blessed."
Proverbs 10:7

Devotional for 12-01-25

Jesus doesn't want us to carry anything,
that could harm us or weight us down.
But He Himself can handle everything that concerns us!

"Casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
I Peter 5:7

Devotional for 12-02-25

Nothing is too little for Him. Nothing is too big for Him.
Because all of the things pertain to you...
and you, my friend, are His favorite.

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me
you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation,
but take courage; I have overcome the world."

John 16:33

Devotional for 12-03-25

God waits until we are ready.
But when we move, He moves.

"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."
James 4:8

Another Devotional for 12/02/25
from the Pauline Epistles:

Fierce Days

"You need to be aware that in the final days
the culture of society will become extremely fierce".

2 Timothy 3:1

"Paul goes on to describe the fierceness of culture by describing
how people will become more self centered and looking out
only for themselves. Others will become obsessed with money.
Pride and arrogance will run rampant. Ungratefulness and dis-
connectedness will increase."

"This is not the whole of the story, though. There are also
those who love goodness and kindness, who seek to share the
mercy-kindness of God, and who live with integrity. We get to
choose whom we will spend time around. When we choose to
surround ourselves with those who care more about pleasing God
than pleasing themselves, we choose wisely. The days are fierce,
but the love of God cuts through with even more force. Let's align
ourselves with the power of his resurrection life and remain faithful
to his loyal love."

BONUS!

"Sin has driven us out of the Garden.
But grace drives us right into the Father's Arms!"

BONUS!:

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted in all the earth.
The of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Psalm 46:10-11

notes from the KJV Study Bible:
"In the original language, the instruction to "be still, and know that I am God" is less a suggestion than an emphatic command. The intent is not "Quiet down and you'll discover God's presence," but rather "Quit what you're doing right now and acknowledge who God is." The last verse is a repetition of 46:7, likely a response by those in the worship ceremony. It is a closing reminder of God's ongoing presence and protection.
