    Buying from Amazon

    Only order online if I can't find something easily in a brick and mortar store in town. I prefer to touch an item before buying, and don't like getting something someone else returned by surprise. Amazon is usually my first choice, unless I can't find it there.

    Home Depot. Their website is still as flaky as it was when they first established one years ago, long before it was cool.

    Halfway between stomach and a side. Switch sides occasionally. Don't know what happens after I go to sleep. Never remember how I wake up.

    Saving or Spending Money

    I've been saving money since I was 6 years old and got my first allowance. Both parents grew up during the Depression, and I thought that's what everybody did. I'm trying to loosen up a bit, but old habits die hard.

    Last noise you heard

    The last unusual noise was (apparently) a raccoon knocking the bird feeder down off the deck, well after midnight last night. Very loud thump. Only figured out what it was this morning.

    Manchester United unveil plans for 100,000-seater new stadium in regeneration project

    A man from England at the place I used to work was a big Manchester United fan. Occasionally they televised a game here in the US, and he never missed it. If not for him, I would never have known about MU. He lived to be 102 years old, btw.

    I once painted the dining room ceiling with pink paint. :oops: It was supposed to turn white when it dried. Required a considerable degree of faith. :unsure: It did finally (turn white).
