    Well, lah-dee-dah... :rolleyes: Now I'm going to have to find wall plate screws with star-shaped grooves. How do you keep them from unscrewing themselves if you don't tighten them the right amount? Even if you do, they seem to unscrew themselves eventually.

    Our goats kept chewing on the inside of the siding (4 x 8 sheets) on the goat barn. I decided to try coating it with whitewash, which they used to use on trees. The goats liked that even better. It has a salty taste. Ask me how I know. Chewed every single square inch off they could reach...

    I rarely use primer. Except on drywall and water marks on ceiling from roof leaks. Lived to regret it one time---new woodwork in the kitchen. Knots in the wood bled through 2 coats of white paint. That's another job I just did. Covered those knots with Zinsser white primer, after the fact...
