Oh, man, my whole body aches today ! Yesterday was such a gorgeous day and I worked outside and in the flower gardens for most of the day, and did a LOT of weedeating, and this morning, my back is letting me know that I did all that bending and yard work. Having my morning coffee, and then...

    I am away on holiday

I am looking forward to hearing about all the fun you have been having on vacation, and maybe some pictures of where you were visiting ? Just really GLAD that everything is fine and you are having fun with your family.

    Last thing you bought

I got a small rechargeable stick vacuum cleaner. It can be used with the long handle like a regular upright vacuum, or you can use the cleaning attachments with it like a handheld vacuum. So far, I really like it ! Since it is cordless, I can just grab it and clean up whatever needs vacuumed...

    What's your Weather like today

I do remember Howdy Doody ! We did not have a television when I was growing up, until I was on my teens, so I missed most of the cartoon and other television shows that kids watched back then. It seems like the show was sponsored by Wonder Bread, and I remember some kind of Howdy Doody coloring...

    What's your Weather like today

I do not remember a princess with that name at all. Was this someone from a Disney movie ? I have always loved all of the seasons, although now that I am older, I do not like the snow and cold anymore, especially like we had in northern Idaho. Here, we are above zero most of the winter, snow is...

    What's your Weather like today

This has been us for the last while, too ! It has been the Alabama Monsoon season here, for sure. Lots of rain, and warm weather, so humidity into the 90+ percentages on some days. We have had the dehumidifier on in the front room to even be able to breathe. It has not rained (yet) today, and...

Last thing you've done when offline?

I really love my battery weedeater, too ! I used to use those FEatherlights, but eventually even those were too heave for me, and I was not strong enough to start the gas engine, so Bobby had to help me. The same with my Ryobi rototiller. So, now I have the small battery ones. I am out of...

What animals have you seen recently?

My blueberries are just starting to get ripe, and now the birds have been out there trying to eat them. I ended up putting a net across the one that has the first ripe fruit, but will have to net the other berry bushes to keep the birds and squirrels out of all of them now. The kitty cats do a...

What animals have you seen recently?

Mostly we just see cats and dogs, but our neighbors have chickens, so there are roosters crowing at all hours of the day and night now, and it feels like we are living on a farm with all the noise. They also have ducks and at least one rabbit, which comes hopping through the yard every now and...

    Has Trump outsmarted everybody?

It appears that the gas companies just knew that they could get away with raising the fuel prices here, even though we have our own gasoline and oil sources tight here in the United States, plus more oil headed this way from Venezuela. I think that the government will put a stop to the...

Wes Streeting says he will run in any leadership race - and calls for UK to rejoin EU

I have not heard much about this, but it seems like having someone else besides Keir Starmer would be better for the country. What do most people in England think about this, @Smithy ?

    Dog and Cat Friends'

Now that summer is pretty much here and we usually have the house doors open, the cats have been spending more time out in the back yard. Magellan (aka Jelly Bean) seems to enjoy helping me with yard and garden work, and when I was thinning the strawberries yesterday, he went right into the...

Cruise ship hantavirus latest: Number of confirmed rat virus cases increases - as Trump gives update

The good ting is that the hantavirus only comes from being in contact with infected rodents, so one person can’t catch it from another person. It is pretty bad that a cruise ship has that many rats on board that it has infected the people on the ship, and they are going to have to totally...

    Board games

I have not played any board games for years and years, not since my kids were growing up and we played board games together as a family. I used to enjoy playing pinochle (card game) but I have not done that for many years either.

    PV Window Box

Since I have been a Reviewer for Walmart, I have been able to get some things for free just for writing a review. Solar lights is something both Bobby and I enjoy, and so I have been getting some pretty solar lights for the yard and garden area. Th least ones I got have flowers as well as the...

Another assassination attempt at the White House correspondent’s dinner !

It is not that there are so many that dislike him, but the ones who do are mainly criminals of one sort or another and they want him assassinated before he can expose their crimes. He has had all of the departments working to help stop human trafficking, and you can believe that upsets some of...
