But I have now gotten Amazon to send me a replacement. Not sure whether I was talking to a chatbot or foreign call center person though.

The last thing that I bought was a new set of clippers for my dog, Marco Poodle. The old clippers still work fine, but the battery quit charging; and they won’t do anything if I can’t charge them up. I have had the old ones for a lot of years, so it was probably time for a new set anyway.
This set has several size clipper heads, large for the body, small for face area, and really tine ones for clipping the inside of his paws and other places that just need small clippers.
It also has a grinding head that is for trimming his toenails, and he and I both much prefer doing that with the grinder than using dog nail clippers.
