Protests and riots in the United States .

Maybe a slight upgrade of this would be sufficient. Don't think I don't have compassion for cons, my much loved number 3 granddaughter is in one ,has 3 more years to go, she will be 40 yo by then.

Granddaughter not in this one, she is in Georgia women's prison, not that good either.

I lived in Homestead for a short period and worked at one of the tomato packing houses in Plantation, also fist time I visited a Publix grocery was there and first time my kids and I lived in a rent for months ,I got really good at camping by necessity, not adventure [ my vocabulary is waning, sorry].

I just think that once they start opening it up for some ,it won't be long before they open it up for many, 5000 at a time for millions can add up over time.
We have deserts they could build in with some AC of course. Why use a world famous eco system thats already in danger?
This is just a temporary facility, just like FEMA uses for emergencies. They are using the same structures as they use for FEMA, and not building anything permanent. Once the illegal criminals are gone, the camp will be gone also.

As far as using deserts, I believe that this will also be happening, since the Florida camp is basically for temporarily housing illegals in Florida, not the whole USA.
President Trump has said that he would set up this kind of camp in each state that wants one, to help with jails overcrowded because of the illegals who are going to be deported.
Since all states are different, facilities in each state will be different, but they will ALL be a temporary holding facility, not a permanent prison like we have in Greenland or Cuba.

We also have some permanent FEMA camps, and those are probably being used to house the illegals being deported, or will be , if not happening already.

I think they chose it because there was a huge runway there that had been there for more than 50 years.

It also has a natural containment system for violent criminals.

The left will probably win in the courts anyway.

I do understand what y'all are saying, I just don't like the foot prints we keep leaving.
Also, I visited these places when they were beautiful and full of wildlife both aquatic and land. I love nature the reefs were so beautiful.
Of course, pet stores and some snake loving fool let loose anaconda's and they have killed the wildlife, even the gators and crocks aren't safe.
I read a story where an anaconda ate its owner, reminded me of Trumps snake story. He knew it was a snake when he took it in, poor man, he must have been real lonely.

I understand, Marie. There are places I love too.

I still think it’s good to use an area that’s been there for decades rather than carving out a new one and that was my main point.

Not the one time thing though, Susannah, its what's coming.
Like having an outhouse that is later turned into a water treatment plant.

I don't think an airport should be there either. I've visited the Glades and other eco places they have ruined. Both parties.

Now the bottling company's Coca Cola and foreign owned Nestles are selling off the world's largest concentration of natural springs for bottled water. Springs are drying up and being polluted.

video 5 years old. They got their wish and bottling company's have almost ruined the springs.
I'm no tree hugger well, maybe I am, but I do have lots of kids, grandkids and great grands that will pay for our carelessness. I do care ' bigly' for them.

Anyone who hasn't watched the videos just watch the first minute ,most of the info is in the first couple of minutes.
I'm old and it won't affect my life that long if at all, but it will the youth.

Got it. We will just have to disagree and I’m ok with that. Maybe we will agree on the next topic. :)

Legal experts say Trump is right that the Constitution does not guarantee a "trial" for every migrant detained and ordered deported at the border or inside the country. In fact, migrants in the country illegally do not have extensive procedural protections from removal. (If they did, it wouldn't have been possible for ICE to deport more than 270,000 last year.)

It looks like the liberals are scheduling a huge protest in Washington DC for next Saturday, October 18th, so the democrats want to keep the government shut down until after that so that none of them need to be in congress when their flunkies are protesting that weekend. Since we have been arresting some of the antifa and other protesters elsewhere, there may not be as many of the paid protesters as they are expecting, now that the protesters are actually being put in jail and not just released right away.

When you think people couldn’t act more stupidly…….. they do ! Now, some of the anti-ICE protesters in Portland, Oregon have decided to protest naked, or semi-naked. First, they were riding through town naked on their bicycles, and now they are blocking streets and highways by lying there in the middle of the street naked.
Some of the antifa protesters have also been shining lasers at helicopters, which has affected the Portland hospitals because they can’t fly their emergency rescue helicopters with the lasers shining at them.

It looks like the police are trying to arrest some of the leaders of the protests, and they are being held under federal arrest warrants, so they can’t just bail out and be back the next day, doing the same thing.
The DOJ is also hunting down the financiers of the protests to see who is paying these people to come out and protest, and once the financing is cut off, most of the protests should stop completely.

I have to laugh because it is so ridiculous. Of course a lot of it is also dangerous.

What shocks me most though is how many people continue to defend these tantrums by useful idiots funded by enemies determined to take the country down.

So far we have been incredibly tolerant of this crap. I'm beginning to wonder whether other countries have become authoritarian out of sheer desperation under similar circumstances.

People should be careful. Counteraction has not even begun. Once it does I hope it can remain nonviolent.

You are correct. Violent protests are what often leads to authoritarian reactions which in turn can lead to dictatorships. These idiots may bring upon themselves what they say they don't want. It is sometimes said that the Left is quick to protest and the Right is slow to react, but when the Right DOES react it is much more violent. The U.S. is the only Presidential form of government that has not been a dictatorship at some time in its history. Probably the Civil War years were the closest for America, when the Democrat party split the country in two.
