Sharply divided, but the majority seem to be pro-Trump by a small margin. Most of the anti-Trumpers have been falling down the rabbit hole of fake news, but lately they have some real stuff to complain about--PBS/NPR defunding, tariffs, etc. What do you people in the USA think of Trump? Good or bad guy?
His original candidacy struck me as a poor joke.
But by halfway through the election year, we saw one opposing pretender after another show their true stripes. Once Sanders fell to his knees, a Hillary supplicant, the die was cast. By the time of the election it was pretty clear Trump was the only possible way to oppose the direction things would otherwise be taken.
I saw little in his 1st term to convince me otherwise. The devious persecution and obstruction he dealt with made it obvious that he alarmed those bent on other goals for the US and the world. Goals that don't sit well with me.
Then another election, and more fiascos. Followed by four years of a doddering puppet, above the law and providing cover for the deep rot within D.C. Lawfare and raids continued, as well as two assassination attempts.
By the third election, more and more of us were freeing ourselves of the Stockholm Syndrome that had been holding us to a party that had long left us behind. In greater numbers, from every walk of life, people were standing up and shouting NO MORE! This was enough to overcome election shenanigans once again.
And in 2025 if nothing else he can say that he is doing as he promised his supporters.
The good news is that it isn't all of them. Plenty enough to be disturbing though. Maybe we'll finally see a culture shift back to normalcy and some of them will feel foolish living on the dole.I also wonder who will fill these blue-collar jobs since our youth refuse to work at a labor type job.
I assume you refer to Canada and Greenland. A problem is the growing security threat from "over the pole."I just hope he stops trying to take over all theses other counties it will be a full-time job just saving America from the previous RINOS and socialist before him.

I think he wants to goad Canada into stepping up. Greenland doesn't have the resources to do it on their own though.
Trump, like Winston Churchill, has some hard to swallow aspects but is definitely what we need at this time. What do you people in the USA think of Trump? Good or bad guy?
52% of the people that they talked to think that, but that doesn't really reflect the opinions of all Americans. The funny thing about those polls is that they only get local opinions of the area where the surveys are conducted. Ask the same questions in California and it would definitely not be 52%.52% of Americans think the country is on the right track for the first time in decades.
That "Lawfare" you mentioned got him sentenced to an "conditional discharge, a sentence that affirms he’s a convicted felon, but one where he will face no further penalties, fines or any time in jail." NPRThe 34 felonies were presented in confusion and the judge recommended if the jury found one to hold, all would pertain to the judgement. Lawfare was used in excess against Trump.
Neither am I. But the question is, do you understand why he's doing that?Recently I am NOT happy that he is supporting Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac opening the opportunity of another real estate boom and bust.

In other words, just like George Bush when he skated on SEC charges and Martha Stewart went to jail for the exact same thing, Trump got away with a slap on his little hands.
