I do not worry about such things.
Since I wear sweat pants most of the time, I just drop ‘em and sit down.
The other two reasons why I sit instead of stand is that, (1) I never miss and (2) every opportunity taken to work my legs (squat) is a good thing.

Uh-huh.
I wear sweats so it’s easier to just sit down to do either chore my body demands ergo, no seat to put down for the lady of the house.
Not so fast though.
When a man can get away with not having to put the seat down, the devious female of the clan will buy or make a seat cover for the lid of the donniker so that no matter what, the gentleman of the house still has a seat to put down.
The payback comes when the lady of the house has to go so bad that she doesn’t see that the lid is down and pees on the seat cover that the man so dutifully put down as per orders.
I mean, if a lady can’t see that the seat is up and falls in, at some point she’s not going to see that the lid is down and …………I’m waiting for it !
