Several of them were manufacturing much more in China, but have migrated a good bit of their manufacturing to Vietnam thinking of pre-empting the Chinese tariffs they knew were coming from Trump. Trump still tariffed them but probably at a lower rate than if they were still in China. They can however, still manufacture in China for export to other countries.Several large companies manufacture products in Viet Nam, so I am sure they put pressure on the country to work out something with the tariffs, so they can still make the product with cheap labor, and not have a high tariff on it when they want to sell it in the USA.
