What's your Weather like today

So humid today! Soupy. Ugh! (n)
This has been us for the last while, too ! It has been the Alabama Monsoon season here, for sure. Lots of rain, and warm weather, so humidity into the 90+ percentages on some days.
We have had the dehumidifier on in the front room to even be able to breathe. It has not rained (yet) today, and I was thinking about taking the weedeater out, but the grass and everything else is just soaked still.

People from the north ask me why I don't mow the lawn early in the morning while it's still cool outside. Yeah, right! Even when it doesn't rain, the dew here is usually so heavy before noon you need to wear boots to keep your feet dry. Sometimes the wet grass clippings build up on the inside of the mower so the blade struggles to turn and will shut down.

Btw, do you remember Princess Summer Fall Winter Spring? :) I'm all in for Fall Winter & Spring. Summer, not so much.

I do not remember a princess with that name at all. Was this someone from a Disney movie ?
I have always loved all of the seasons, although now that I am older, I do not like the snow and cold anymore, especially like we had in northern Idaho. Here, we are above zero most of the winter, snow is only a few inches and lasts a few days, instead of being several feet deep for 4-5 months .
I can see why you would not like summer as much down here in the south, since it is SO hot and SO humid ! I have a hard time breathing anyway, and the humidity makes it much worse for me.

We have the out back little swimming pool, and that makes summer bearable for me. It is not large enough that a person can actually do any swimming, but it is cool water and we both enjoy keeping cool and sunbathing during the summer months.

Spring is the best ! It warms up enough to be outside and I can work in the yard and garden until we get to the heat of summer days, and then that is pretty much over for me until fall and it cools back down some again.
This is Magellan (Jelly Bean) sitting on the ladder for the swimming pool. He was intently staring at the water until he heard me come out on the back porch and then he turned around to looks at me.
We are wondering if he is going to try out the pool this summer…..
