Not sure how spiritual you are but I just read that when the angels rebelled, one third! were thrown out of heaven and that their sole goal, now, is to take the souls of men away from God so that they may not join him in heaven. God gave men free will so men are free to follow Satan. Satan knows this but lots of men/women don't understand the power of free will.
The feelings of What we want as opposed to what we need is strong. Riches and things are so available now, more than in any time in history, and will get more so with AI, robots etc. that we will look to the ease and feel we no longer need God.
Along with the availability of drugs, children force into prostitution, Satan is having a field day. That Mandami was going to legalize prostitution in in NYC if he gets elected. ( I wondered how he would fund everything he says will be free )
The guy who shot KIrk thought he was ending him. But he made thousands more Kirks and I hope they keep going.
Our main weapon is prayer and bringing people to Christ.
Six things I was told to pray for right now and to continue to pray for was:
Strength to God's warrior angels (I didn't really believe in angels till recently) Strengthen them to overcome the enemy.
Pray for our governments -- to guide our leaders.
Pray against those bent on our destruction.
Pray the plans of the enemy are destroyed.
Pray for the healing of the Church--Christ's church. So many churches leave Jesus out of worship or have him as an after thought. They try to bring worshipers in with entertainment and such, not with salvation through the grace of Christ.
And finally pray that more come to salvation through Jesus now that the end is coming closer. They still have a chance.

I do believe there is a unseen, and sometimes felt fight between good and evil. I have read about non believers or people on the fence who have a life changing experience and become a deep believer.
I do pray for some of the causes you mention plus a lot of others. I do believe Satan is influencing those with no or weak beliefs by using man made tool. A lot of today's movies, electronic games, books, treat human life with no regard. I see children playing games where killing another worrior by shooting, or stabbing gets you points. In my mind it's mentally training a disregard for human life. It seems like it's an anything goes Mindset today, Anything for attention, a laugh, a cause, by those who can't appreciate the good things in life.
I hope some of our prayers get answered for the good of future generations.

I'm okay today I'm feeling physically better than I have in the last week.

People are cheering that Charlie Kirk was assassinated. What a horrible world.
I really don't have the desire to tell you all I feel about the subject but something's got to be done to set ourselves a little more compassionate and be human again.

My middle daughter is very sensitive and was made to feel very fearful and concerned about the horrible news around. I told her to look around here not on the internet. The fall colors are lovely, we have food, clothing and shelter, people who are concerned about us. And people with whom we can share.
I assume things are similar where you are, Tony Page. It is the media making things nuts. Too much information.

All this Trump mania is making Hitler look like a good guy. As far as I can determine, he hasn't killed anyone and hasn't done anything I can find that is definitely against the Constitution.

I basically agree, although Trump has come close recently. I don't agree with his reversal on illegals. aliens.
Or using military force on boats without proof of drugs.
I wish he had of first proved they were transporting drugs,{ which I'm sure they were] before blowing the thugs up.
And he also needs to stay out of non-ally's wars.

I have a 40 year old tradition every year on this date I play some Christmas music, I'm on my second album.

We're doing okay.
My daughter had a follow-up doctor's appointment for her fractured ankle looks like she's going to be in the boot for the next 3 weeks.
My wife arm has been swelling up and down so I took her to our family doctor. They think what it is, is related to the fact that she had lymph nodes removed during her breast cancer surgery. I can't remember the name of the disease, maybe lymphoma. I ordered her a compression sleeve rather than use the wrap. They found that she also has a UTI she's on an antibiotic.

My plate has been rather full, I've been a chauffeur for my daughter and her children, and I've been trying to help my wife with some of her task, because she's supposed to rest her arm. Seems like I've been busy constantly. I can't wait to get back to normal chaos. Haha

I haven't heard from her. I hope she is doing well. Perhaps @Yvonne Smith knows how she is doing. I hope you enjoy the C.S. Lewis book. I read it twice, but would be up for another read.

Tony, you and the wife try to eat as healthy of diet as possible, it may help ,I hope so. I know diet really helps with my BP and diabetes. You and Cody are still in my prayers, will add your wife too.
I thank God every day for the day, forgiveness and family friends, very short, but I think it works.

Yesterday I had my appointment with my oncologist. Last August, I was taken off my hormone medication because of some heart issues I was having that might be related to the medication. I met with my cardiologist last week, and we agreed to start the hormone medication again. My oncologist yesterday agreed that I should start taking the hormone pill again. While there, I got another B12 shot. Right now, it's a wait and see game, first to see how I handle the hormone pill, then hopefully in the future, to see how my readings are for the prostate cancer. I hope the side effects will be minor.

For the last 3 months or so, my daughter and I have been having concerns about my wife and her mental acuity. She is having trouble comprehending discussions. It seems to be slowly progressing. Sometimes, she can't remember or get it right with things we talked about within the last couple of hours. She gets argumentive when she's frustrated when she can't get things straight. Most times, she blames me. She refuses to see a doctor, and I will continue to try to persuade her. I am at a point where I don't correct her anymore when she's wrong, unless she's doing something harmful to her or us, I just let it slide because when I did correct her she would snap & yell at me. I would say she's normal about 85% of the time, however when she's off it's worrisome.

Also, some college researchers are using nicotine patches to help, and they also seem to work. Vanderbilt University in Nashville is one of the places doing that kind of study, but I think that I read that there are other places doing research on this as well.
