This past January one of my daughter's dogs (Minnie) died. It was sudden and unexpected. One day she seemed ok, the next morning she was rushed to the vet where she died within a couple of hours. As a household my daughter and family had 2 dogs, me and my wife have 1, for a total of 3.

My daughter got another dog this past August a Shih Tzu / Bichon mix, they call a teddy bear. We are now back to 3 dogs. She's now about 4 months old and very playful with the other 2 dogs. I am not a big fan of these designer dogs, but this one is really cute and loving, and my Grandkids give her the loving right back.
Her name is Penny, her photo below.

We lost our last dog 2 years ago a little white, soft mutt named Emma. I have wanted to get hubby another but he fears he could no longer take care of a dog with the walks it would need in the winter.Pets make a home better.

I agree , pets do make a better home. I don't know what I would do without my dog Tia. This may sound silly, I believe she Senses when i'm having a problem, if I'm sitting she'll come over and give me a hug, and for that moment I feel loved.

There is no doubt that dogs particularly sense what is going on with their owners. That is how and why they have survived with us for so many millennia.

A friend of mine cut down the flowers of 2 tall Sunflowers. The flowers were packed with Sunflower seed so he secured them to my birdfeeder. So far we've had one Blue Jay feeding off of the Sunflowers. I'm hoping some Cardinals will also join the feast.

I didn't see any Cardinals at the bird feeder, instead a squirrel showed up. See photo below.

They do seem to know our moods. Foxy has 'donkey' ears, and they tell what mood she is in. Just like my Donk Rosie whose ears spoke.

Rosie in a bad mood, Horse Tobacco just curious , Our grandchild as toddler who commetted suicide a few years ago at 26. I wish he could have been raised on a farm or ranch. Instead of online gaming, We miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandchild that's horrible and heartbreaking. There's no words I can think of that can comfort that.

Thank you Tony, it was heartbreaking for us all, especially my son who lost his first son to crip death, now he has two next to each other in the cemetery. His first and last sons.
He has one son now who is the oldest on the donkeys back who now has 6 kids, wish they had a farm or ranch. City's today aren't what they were when you and I were young.
Cory was so intelligent, but it cost us all, he was a gamer and that is horrible for our youth.
He realized he had no friends in gaming. My son researched his computer where he shot himself, and he was asking for somebody to reply. Nobody did.
Gaming is not a good thing. That's why I hope all the great grand kids get into sports, rodeo's or farm animals. Grandkids want big houses and new autos, wish it was sports or farms.

I wish all kids could have had farm upbringing to give them purpose. Purpose probably could stop the violence.

A busy, sad, and confusing the last few days. Thursday I had an heart echocardiogram. The technician really press the scanning device into me, I was still feeling sore a day later. On Friday they posted the test results, which bottom line I have some kind of a heart abnormality. I couldn't tell you what the problem is, because I couldn't interpret it but I will be seeing the cardiologist on November 3rd I'm sure we'll go over all of that. On Saturday I took my blood pressure and it came up that I had an irregular heartbeat. Did a few more tests in a 4-Hour period and they all came back that I had an irregular heartbeat. Was also having a problem with my hands cramping usually means I need potassium and/or magnesium. I took a potassium pill and Sunday morning I had cereal with bananas, took my blood pressure and the irregular heartbeat was gone. I looked it up online and low potassium levels can cause irregular heartbeats.

The whole family was saddened with the news of a friend of my daughters, had a stillbirth on Wednesday. My daughter can't drive because she fractured her ankle about 10 days ago, so I drove and took her to the funeral. It was heartbreaking.

Man, @Tony Page. A tough few days. Keep up the supplements and be sure to take D3 and K2 with the magnesium.

One thing that is giving me some Joy is that when I walk out my front door occasionally I'll see one of the lizards. With the temperatures dropping and them being cold-blooded I don't expect them to be around much longer. The photo below is one that is about 6 in Long, there is another one that's about the same length with a piece of the tail missing. During the summer I have seen young ones maybe an inch and a half long. I have seen them go into holes under the cement walk and stoop which warms up with the sun. I hope they survived the winter and are back next year.

Glad you got it back down, more proof of good food can be for illnesses. Of course I do like doctors, they have saved my life but I also try to use food if I can.

I'm okay today I'm feeling physically better than I have in the last week.
Mentally I'm bothered by a newscast this morning showing some I believe it was a politician I'm going to quote as close to what I remember that he said. " if I was in a room and had a gun with two bullets and in the room was Hitler and he mentioned some other bad person and Trump I put the two bullets in Trump's head" I find that statement very troubling especially he was smiling afterwards what a world we live in it's disgusting.
People are cheering that Charlie Kirk was assassinated. What a horrible world.
I really don't have the desire to tell you all I feel about the subject but something's got to be done to set ourselves a little more compassionate and be human again.

Not sure how spiritual you are but I just read that when the angels rebelled, one third! were thrown out of heaven and that their sole goal, now, is to take the souls of men away from God so that they may not join him in heaven. God gave men free will so men are free to follow Satan. Satan knows this but lots of men/women don't understand the power of free will.
The feelings of What we want as opposed to what we need is strong. Riches and things are so available now, more than in any time in history, and will get more so with AI, robots etc. that we will look to the ease and feel we no longer need God.
Along with the availability of drugs, children force into prostitution, Satan is having a field day. That Mandami was going to legalize prostitution in in NYC if he gets elected. ( I wondered how he would fund everything he says will be free )
The guy who shot KIrk thought he was ending him. But he made thousands more Kirks and I hope they keep going.
Our main weapon is prayer and bringing people to Christ.
Six things I was told to pray for right now and to continue to pray for was:
Strength to God's warrior angels (I didn't really believe in angels till recently) Strengthen them to overcome the enemy.
Pray for our governments -- to guide our leaders.
Pray against those bent on our destruction.
Pray the plans of the enemy are destroyed.
Pray for the healing of the Church--Christ's church. So many churches leave Jesus out of worship or have him as an after thought. They try to bring worshipers in with entertainment and such, not with salvation through the grace of Christ.
And finally pray that more come to salvation through Jesus now that the end is coming closer. They still have a chance.

The insanity in this nation now reminds me of a song in my head this morning, God Is Great, Beer is Good and People Are Crazy.
Tony, at this point I'm of the mind set of "charity begins at home". I don't like the drastic change of our nation. Of course nothings new ,all empires fall and basically for the same reasons. I feel sorry for the youth.

Research and take care of yourself Tony. We need a lot more magnesium (glycinate) and Potassium than you think--3600 mg of potassium a day, not the 99mg of most pills.
My daughter found all of her cramping and heart issues disappeared with eating (0r taking capsules) of burdock root. Very bio available form of those minerals. Like Don Alaska said take vitamins d3 and k2/7. That will keep calcium going to your bones and not into your heart muscle. Also, Co Q 10. More doctors see the importance of this now too.
Hope your daughter and her friend's family heal well.

All this Trump mania is making Hitler look like a good guy. As far as I can determine, he hasn't killed anyone and hasn't done anything I can find that is definitely against the Constitution.
