An active shooter armed with tactical gear and a rifle opened fire upon Border Patrol agents as they arrived at a Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley on Monday, law enforcement sources say.

Agents and local police returned fire and killed the gunman. No federal agents were hit, but one McAllen police officer was struck. Law enforcement sources say the officer is in stable condition.

The incident comes just days after another Texas police officer was shot Friday night near U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Prairieland Detention Facility, authorities said.

"We are closely monitoring the attacks on DHS detention facilities in Prairieland, TX, and Portland, OR, and are coordinating with the [US Attorney offices] and our law enforcement partners," said Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on X.

Things seem to be heating up around the country.

Democrats told by constituents to "get shot" for the anti-Trump resistance

At town halls in their districts and in one-on-one meetings with constituents and activists, Democratic members of Congress are facing a growing thrum of demands to break the rules, fight dirty — and not be afraid to get hurt.

Why it matters: House Democrats told Axios they see a growing anger among their base that has, in some cases, morphed into a disregard for American institutions, political traditions and even the rule of law.

What we're hearing: The grassroots wants more. "Some of them have suggested ... what we really need to do is be willing to get shot" when visiting ICE facilities or federal agencies, a third House Democrat told Axios.

Our own base is telling us that what we're doing is not good enough ... [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public," the lawmaker said.

A fourth House Democrat said constituents have told them "civility isn't working" and to prepare for "violence ... to fight to protect our democracy."

A fifth House Democrat told Axios that "people online have sent me crazy s*** ... told me to storm the White House and stuff like that," though they added that "there's always people on the internet saying crazy stuff."

There’s more on the Axios website.

Man facing federal charges for starting fire at Portland ICE facility

Not only are " they eating out cats and dogs" :D but they are killing our kids with drugs and foreign gangsters from around the world.
Americans are now a minority in their own nation. Soros, Gates and other's plans for the one world order seems to be working.

I don't see anything being done, where is the military to stop the invasions coming in from all over the world?
Please bear in mind that I'm just making conversation here, trying to answer your question, which I've heard a lot lately, living so close to the southern border in an area that the population is 60% Latino.

You remember 9/11, of course. I can tell you exactly what I was doing when it came on CNN showing video of the first plane crashing into the WTC. And that was almost 24 years ago. Cindy was having surgery and I was sitting in the lobby watching their TV.

What was the governments response to that? To declare war on Terrorists. Seeing that printed on the bottom of the TV screen while a reporter is saying nearly 3,000 Americans died in the attacks, I was in agreement. But later I thought about it and I needed answers to clear my mind.

What is an invasion? The term "invasion" is typically defined as a country's armed military crossing another country's borders with intention to overthrow the government and take over the invaded country.
People crossing our borders in search of a better life, legally or not, is not an invasion. However, there are things the POTUS can do to prevent people from crossing the border between San Diego, California and El Paso, Texas.

Remember when Trump created the "Roosevelt Reservation", a 60-foot wide strip of land owned by the government along the US-Mexico Border in California, Arizona, and New Mexico? That in effect is a legal roundabout, to squeak by military use laws. Because anyone sets foot on any part of the Roosevelt Reservation land is violating federal law about illegally entering a military base.

But as I said, that is a legal roundabout. The POTUS has the authority to re-map military bases. So if a group of people cross the border, whether they are armed or not, they can be arrested, and tried in a Military Tribunal, which would make a standard court judge cringe. The bottom like is, since he announced he was running for POTUS in 2015, Trump has been leading the chant "Build That Wall!", but he never made it happen. Now the Roosevelt Reservation is an invisible substitute for Trump's Wall. However, it's not really working...

Edit: When I said "...they can be arrested, and tried in a Military Tribunal, which would make a standard court judge cringe." before, I meant to say "superior court judge." I don't know why I do that. And since I spelled it correctly, and I didn't notice it... Well, you know the rest. 🫣

I don't think Trump will pardon any Antifa type's.
You could say Antifa is to Democrats, as MAGATS (Make America Great Again Trump Supporters) are to Republicans. Neither is all in for the Party. They're all in for their own little part of the Party. This is one of those things that keep me out of both parties. They're both are just as bad in many ways, and I'll pass on that. I just watched a show on Tubi about the "Me Too" movement that took out so many powerful film makers. Several times during that show they should have mentioned the numerous scandals in both political parties. Some of which made quite a headline, but were soon forgotten about.

No. You couldn't.

In fact there is quite a cadre of high-profile establishment Republican neocons who backed and endorsed Biden.

Antifa is a well-funded terrorist organization, a completely different thing.

I somewhat agree.

Huh. So slander.

And just how long have you lived on welfare? The Disability-Industrial Complex seems pretty good about brainwashing its herd of cows.

All I'm hearing is bitterness from somebody who ought to be appreciative of the generosity bestowed upon him by society. How long do you think they'd let you live under the Communism you seem to crave?

I am neither Democrat or Republican, I am independent; but it I had to lean toward one or the other, it would definitely be to the Republicans, even though there seem to be s bunch of them who are not much different than democrats.

I am definitely a supporter of Make America Great Again, and I am happy that we have a president who is there for that reason and no other.
President Trump could have happily lived out his life with his family and enjoyed retirement, and instead he chose to try and help save this country, and I believe that we owe him a great debt of gratitude for risking his life and almost dying trying to save the country.

Antifa is led by people who are trying to hurt people and destroy buildings, and bring America down, which is the total opposite of what MAGA is trying to do; so there is NO comparison between the two. Burning down cities and attacking Americans is plain out trying to destroy this beautiful country, and the peaceful people who live here and only want a nice life.

Actually, I think that between the MAGA people and the MAHA people that Kennedy brought, we make up the majority of Americans now, and both traditional parties are on the way downhill and losing supporters.

I'm for Trump too but don't always like the way he goes about some things, like illegals for instance. Why build all these expensive camps when you can just put them on boats, trains planes and buses and send them home, they don't deserve a trail.
Can you imagine how many years it would take to ' check out' 30 million people who come from hundreds of countries and don't speak English?
Also, Trump said if you've been here for a couple years, have a job not a criminal,'you can stay'.
I am very glad Trump is president and the libs lost. I too am conservative. But I don't always agree with him, I too am an Independant.

The camps are simply places to keep the illegals in custody until they can be shipped back to their home country. Otherwise, we would have to try and keep them in jails or other facilities that we have for regular criminals.
The new places that they are setting up in several states now are not for long term housing, just temporary and then as soon as they have a plane load, they fly them out. The states and the federal authorities collaborate on these camps, and they are actually pretty cheap to set up, compared to a prison facility.

President Trump is not saying that people who came here illegally but have a job can stay. Those people are told that they can self-deport, and if they do that they can take along their belongings and any money they have accumulated, plus they have the chance to come back to the United States with the proper paperwork, and be able to stay here legally.

As far as having a trial, only the ones who were arrested for some crime and in jail awaiting a trial are apt to have that. The illegals rounded up by ICE are not having a trial, they are just being sent back home to wherever their home country is at.
Some of the ones who were convicted of serious crimes are given a trial, or have already had one, and those people are sent to a prison somewhere, like the ones sent to the El Salvadore facility.

Some of these people are from places like China, India, Pakistan, Somalia, and other countries besides the Hispanic countries. They just arrested a whole group from India who have been responsible for human trafficking, and are located in Nebraska.
Even some of the students who are here on visas are having those revoked if they are found to be part of the political riots, so we are doing a great job of removing these people from our country, as well as off the welfare programs.
