What books have you been reading lately?

Currently reading 'The Night Stalker' by Chris Carter.

I'm just winding up reading "Rich Blood" by Robert Baily, which was pretty good. I'm just starting another one by Baily, called" Boomerang." Both are thrillers.

Bailey is one of my favorite authors ! Since I live in Huntsville, Alabama, and he writes about this area in most of his books, it makes it even better. I read through all of the Dr. McMurtry books, first, and now have just finished the Boomarang book, too.
All of his books are on Kindle Unlimited, so I caould easily read my way through the whole attorney series.

I was in at that time but did not go to Vietnam. I spent most of my time at Camp Pendleton in California.
My Dad was in the Army in WWII, he had the most glorious job you can imagine. He was a Supply Sergeant. Granted, he was stationed at Fort Reid in Wallerfield in the beautiful country of Trinidad and Tobago, off the coast of Venezuela. But had friends who were in the Marines. When I told him I was going to enlist in the Army Corp of Engineers, he told me "I'm glad you are not going to join the Marines. They're the first ones in, and the last to be carried out."
