We usually only have one main meal each day , and then just have leftovers or snack if we want something more to eat. Bobby and I do not always eat on the same schedule, or even the same foods, since I am on a low-carb eating schedule and he is not.
Today, we went to the fitness center , I swam and Bobby worked out, and then we came e home and had homemade protein ice cream to eat. It is much healthier than ice cream from the store and I make it with either cottage cheese or yogurt and protein powder to have lots of nutrients in it, so it is actually a good meal.

Bobby boiled a dozen eggs, so in a little while, I will make deviled eggs, and we can have those for snacking later if we get hungry.

Today is kids swimming lessons at the fitness center, which is always a lot of kids yelling and racing around, so we have decided that weekends are not a good time to go there and for me to try and swim. Since the kids aren’t working out in the weight room, it is not an issue with Bobby, but it is a definite distraction in the swimming pool area.
Plus, it is recuperation day from the workouts yesterday, so we are taking it easy at home today. I made a pizza casserole, which is basically like a deep dish pizza, except i just made a quick batter for the crust from self-rising flour and not a yeast dough.
We still have leftover deviled eggs if we need any other snacks, too.

Not much excitement here. I still have spaghetti I made for last night. I'll dice another tomato and add some ground beef I cooked earlier, then shake a little cheese on that. Kind of silly what can feel decadent these days! :ROFLMAO:

I need to look into some recipes. I had a dessert idea around cream cheese, unsweetened applesauce, diced tart black cherries, and a little vanilla or almond extract. Mix well, allow to sit in the fridge overnight. Let it warm on the counter then smear on graham crackers. Before experimenting I'll see if there is any "prescription" for relative quantities of ingredients.

I had steak, rice and mashed potatoes for dinner.
