This device was covered under my Medicare advantage plan, and after reading about it and watching some YouTube videos, I got one last month. There are a lot of different ones available at all sorts of prices, and the one I got is a Merach Vibration Plate. It is square instead of oblong, which means i can stand on it in either direction.
Forward gives a side to side vibration, and if you stand facing sideways, then you get a front to back vibration. Both feel really different on my body.
In just using it for these few weeks, I can already feel a big difference.
Even after a 10 minute vibration, I can actually feel my circulation is much better, and at night i do one just sitting on a chair and putting my feet on the plate for 10 minutes before I go to bed.
Doing that has helped with my leg and foot swelling immensely ! Dr. Terry Wahls, the MS doctor, said she recommends this for all of her MS patients.

When I talked to my cardiologist about using it, he said it was a good thing and could help me. Since I have heart failure and a permanent pacemaker, I was concerned about whether it would be safe for me to use it, and wanted to ask my heart doctor before doing too much with it. Once I had his enthusiastic approval, I started using it every day.
My energy level is better now, too. I play music when I stand on the plate, and “dance” on the platform.
This is what mine looks like.

Here is the thread about the vibration plate, @Faye 2.0 . I have been using mine for just over a month now, and it really helps me. I discovered it online and watched some YouTube videos, and decided to try it and see if it helped with the leg and foot swelling, and it does.
I started out just sitting in my chair and putting my feet on it for 10 minutes, and that really makes my legs and feet feel better.

Now, I try to stand on it for 10 minutes 1-2 times each day, and you can feel it vibrating your whole body when you stand on it. Afterwards, I can literally feel my blood circulation faster and hotter in my legs, and somehow, it is also helping my balance. I even think that my head is clearer and I have more energy.
I have read that it helps with aches like arthritis, as well as helping brains drain clogging stuff when the lymph glands drain properly, so it can help with memory loss, too.

I am reading a book called Whole Body Vibration for Seniors that is free on Kindle Unlimited, and the author says that the vibration plate can actually help with memory problems. She said the vibration helps lymph to drain and when it drains from your brain, it takes out junk that has gotten stuck in there, so you can function better. She also says that the vibration helps stimulate serotonin and can elevate mood, and is much safer than using an anti-depressant like Prozac.
I am seldom depressed, but i do feel like I have more energy now. Of course, some of that is probably because spring is coming, and that always makes me happier.
