In a phone call with Sky's US partner network, NBC News, Mr Trump said the Russian president's recent comments, calling for a transitional government to be put in place in Ukraine, were "not going in the right direction".

Donald Trump has said he was "very angry" and "pissed off" after Vladimir Putin criticised the credibility of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a phone call with Sky News' US partner network, NBC News.
Mr Trump said the Russian president's recent comments, calling for a transitional government to be put in place in Ukraine in a move that could effectively push out Mr Zelenskyy, were "not going in the right direction".

He told NBC's Kirsten Welker: "If I feel we're in the midst of a negotiation, you could say that I was very angry, pissed off, when Putin said yesterday that - you know, when Putin started getting into Zelenskyy's credibility, because that's not going in the right direction."

Is President Trump playing with WWIII level fire?

I read he was annoyed with Russian President Putin after a phone conversation. Is this the correct way to negotiate by treating escalating the war? Did he misjudge President Putin? Read the article below.

This is part of an article in an email from Newsmax.

"President Donald Trump has privately encouraged Ukraine to step up strikes deep in Russian territory, even asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy whether he could hit Moscow if the U.S. provided long-range weapons, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday."

"The newspaper, citing two people familiar with the conversation, said Trump spoke to his Ukrainian counterpart in a call on July 4, a day after speaking to Russian President Vladimir Putin."

I'm not sure Trump has been left with much choice here.

We know that China is now setting aside its mask of "peaceful mediator" in Eastern Europe and Northern Eurasia. In the short run while they won't ever trust Putin they're choosing to back him in expansion into Ukraine. In the longer term they aim to topple Putin, install a puppet government, and expand Communism by re-introducing it into a reassembled Soviet territory.

In the meantime CCP hopes this chaos will distract the US from China and Taiwan.

If Putin loses his war now he knows that China will take him out. Under such accumulating pressure Putin is becoming more erratic and aggressive.

Putin has been reduced to a tool. The real enemy is of course China.

Many China observers are talking about this. Here is just one:

Beijing’s secret plan to divide Russia after Putin’s defeat in Ukraine

I think that a new national election should be done in Ukraine with oversight. A lot of Corruption with Zelensky's election. Removing people etc. He stepped off the comedy, celebrity stage and into the shoes of president. Not sure of any primaries but he had the backing of the Bidens with some shadiness there.

I think Russia perhaps had a puppet president in Ukraine. The U.S. didn't like that so installed a puppet president of their own in Mr. Zelenskyy. Putting a piano-playing comedian into the President's office provided the U.S. with someone they could manipulate. The problem now is that Russia's invasion pushed Zelenskyy into the role of Wartime President, and gave him emergency powers to arrest any opposed to him and he now can stand in defiance of both Russia and the West. He is, however, totally dependent on support from NATO and hopes to force his way into membership into that ever-expanding community.

Nato now has to pay us for weapons and percentages of their GDP. I expect the strain on the EU's finances will upset the citizens, like here. The economics of the world is about to flip. We will have nothing and be happy. ;)
Remember, our president was a game show host. Although he is a much better president than I had hoped for and much better for us and the world than Kamala.
