Trump has invoked the Insurrection Act

Trump has invoked the Insurrection Act as a result of the Chicago mayor declaring "ICE-free zones" and calling for a replay of the Civil War. Declaring ICE-free zones is essentially announcing that parts of Chicago have seceded from the Union since no state or municipal officer can prevent the Federal government from enforcing Federal law. Insurrection was last declared during the LA Riots after the Rodney King trial. It has been used at least 30 times in U.S. history, and this simply will bypass judges and allow the use of regular military troops as was done during the Kennedy Administration to enforce Civil Rights laws. This will be interesting.

I'd have thought California would be first. I suppose Chicago provided the legal trigger required first though.

It must be Hell living in and around these places. I can't believe demands for Federal intervention have not been louder.

Nothing makes sense anymore, the whole first world has lost its mins and will to survive.
Oh, that's right I'm supposed to stay away from politics, Poli. tic is a good title, since they do act like parasites once they get some power.

The “Great Replacement” Is Not Just A Conspiracy Theory | Proof For Your Liberal Friend

No, it isn't a theory, and Schumer and his Party promote it actively through birth control, abortion, and uncontrolled immigration.
Ironically, if abortion hadn't been legal since the 1970s, the Democrat party would have many more voters on thee rolls now. I have seen statistics that stated that about 89% of abortions are in Democratic families. I have no idea if that is accurate, but I am sure the Conservatives have far fewer than Leftists.

I suppose that's so.

However I've been reading that it was once quite common for late-teen pregnancies to lead to marriage at rates that just were not discussed in "polite society." The claim is that, while it produced a lot of hardship it also forced maturity on the "young adults" involved and produced many of the long-term stable families in our societies.

The natural biological and social "norms," even if only spoken of in quiet harsh tones of disapproval, have been abrogated.

Today this even happens less and less among the poor, much less the working class and nearly not at all in what's left of the lower and upper middle classes.

Where do we still find this today? Everywhere on Earth that still has a birth rate at replacement minimums or above!

The message seems clear: we are committing cultural suicide.

So there's crime in cities in blue states... There's crime in cities in red states too. What's Trump doing about that? In fact, what is he doing in either one? Specifically, what is it that you think Trump is doing to fight crime?

A lot of "blue States" are only "blue" at all because of their big cities.

It has little or nothing to do with the political average of a given State. Instead what we're seeing is the result of urban culture and the corrupt local officials they have attracted as more and more money is poured into them - supposedly to "fix" one problem after another.

The election corruption in Philadelphia and Atlanta is well known, as is Chicago, of course. Seattle always seems to find "hidden" ballots that tip the election. I think in one gubernatorial race in Washington, the Republican led right down to the finding of a box of "forgotten" ballots above the ceiling of a polling place. The Dem candidate won that by 500 votes I think. There was even a movie about it, but in the movie the finding of corruption actually made a difference, but in the real case it did not.

There is crime in All Cities in the Entire Country. (And in the Entire World, for that matter.) Is there anyone here who would like to try and answer these questions? Why are all of the ICE actions only in blue states? The crime in red states is acceptable?

Here's some video from War Torn Portland, Oregon:

The answer to one of your questions / statements is that having nearly 200 offices, I.C.E. operates in ALL 50 states.

And, as for another: The fire department does not get called when someone lights a match for a mere breeze or breath is all it takes to extinguish it.
Alternatively, when the whole house is on fire is when a greater force is needed to put it out.
