Forums can be good if they are run properly. But "Anti-Social Media" as I have called it or years, has absolutely no redeeming qualities at all. Fakebook is one of the worst...

I had a hard time with this poll because I enjoy both forums as well as social media. Facebook is the way I stay in contact with my friends and family , many of which are out in the Pacific Northwest area. (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) I do not follow very much on Facebook, but I go through family/friends pages and also get notifications when they post something on Facebook.

I read X/Twitter off and on all day long, because they have the best information about news, and i follow a lot of new/information people there, as well as quite a few health and nutritionists and doctors.
It also has the best weather information because most of the storm trackers post everything on X.

Of everything, I probably use X the most; but I also enjoy posting and reading on forums that I am interested in.
I still miss our SeniorsOnlyClub Forum, but have pretty much adapted to DHQ now, and we have a lot of the Refugees from SOC, so that helps it to feel most like “home” to me here.

I enjoy both social media and forums, but I’m more of a fan of forums as I started my first forum at the age of 15-16. I didn’t get involved with social media until later on.

I use social media to network and stay connected with family that don’t live near me. Especially those that stay in another country.

Forums, definitely - although I feel like asking this question on a forum is a bit like going outside a church and asking people in that area whether or not they believe God exists :P .
Not necessarily. If you consider that Forums are just one thing, but Social Media covers a lot of programs and websites. What if someone visits a forum for a few minutes a day, but they tend to spend hours on what I have been known to refer to as Anti-Social Media, soaking up all that fake news that is everywhere now days? That would kind of water down that theory...

I don't need social media because I have @Yvonne Smith.:ROFLMAO:
