Yes. Thought you would like it.I don't know when it came out, but I liked the movie. Mary have you seen the movie?
The film was partially shot on location in Utah at scenic sites including Strawberry Valley, Three Lakes, Kanab Race Track, Rockville Road, Panguitch Lake, and Cedar Breaks National Monument. The film’s climactic race scene, lasting the final 18 minutes, was shot at the Fairfield County Fair Grounds in Lancaster, Ohio.
Reminds me of the My Friend Flicka times.Well we clearly have a couple of "horsey girls" here.
This is one that my oldest sister would love. I'll have to pass the link on to her. Not a "western" in the vein of a John Wayne shoot-em-up or even a Gene Autry guitar-saddle-tramp-in-glitter.
Fantasy, yet closer to realism and set later than most of what we think of as "classic westerns." Maybe 1890 to 1910? Just a good old family film made for audiences who still had some connection to rural life.
Lots of nearly-forgotten old-timey actors here. And also Burl Ives.
Green Grass of Wyoming (1948): Classic Western Adventure
Despite the title card here, there are no smoking blondes in this.
This marvelous bit of fluff stars Loretta Young as a prim, repressed nurse who unleashes her wild side when sleepwalking. Joseph Cotten is the hotshot lawyer who warmly receives her advances, if with some confusion.
My all-time favorite western was The Rare Breed.Well we clearly have a couple of "horsey girls" here.

I don't think I've ever seen one of these silent type movies. I may watch it later. You don't have to worry about language barrios,Empress Ki.
51 eps each an hour long.
Best series I have ever watched.

My daughter urged us to go to the new Avatar movie. Impressive special effects. Lots of war type footage. Interesting story line. But I can't recommend it as even bringing pain to imaginary animals makes me sick.
But she wanted to go one last time to the big screen. There probably won't be many more with all the home streaming opportunities.
There are no more drive-ins around here. These days we only go to the drive in. and that is seldom, since it is 60 miles from us.
