Interesting that Putin said that he was confirming Trump's statement that the war wouldn't have happened if Trump were President. Basically, he was saying that Biden's mishandling of the situation led to the war. As I said before, Putin only wanted a small part of Ukraine. He expected to walk in just like he did in Crimea with no reaction from the West. When Biden reacted, he did everything wrong, just as he did in Afghanistan. The Biden Administration pushed China and Russia together, and that was a terrible thing to do as Trump mentioned in his interview with Hannity. Removing Russia from the SWIFT System was not the correct thing to do. Allowing Russia to take over part of Ukraine would have been tragic, but it might have saved many lives. Once everyone reacted, Putin could no longer stop his aggression, and he was then forced to go into full war mode. He was forced to make agreements with China, North Korea and a few smaller countries. It also accelerated the advancement of the BRICS Alliance and the SCO, with India and Pakistan joining and both groups gaining strength and moving further away form the Western nations and economies. The news is that after the Trump/Putin meeting on Friday, that Zelenskyy will be meeting with President Trump in Washington DC on Monday. However, (and I have not seen this officially verified) the word is that Zelenskyy has to be wearing a suit and tie, or he will not be allowed into the White House.
Since he has been very disrespectful every time he comes to America before, it remains to be seen if he is going to comply this time and show respect for our President and our country.
President Putin said at the meeting that i Trump had been president, Russia would not have invaded Ukraine in the first place; so hopefully this means that they have come to a meaningful resolution about the whole situation, and now they just need to get Z to comply.
