PGA Masters Ruling

For some young fans of The Masters, this ruling will be, and has been, ridiculous, but that's just the way The Master is:

No backwards hats

Augusta National strictly prohibits backwards hats anywhere on the property. This seemingly minor rule has embarrassed several high-profile players over the years.

In 2011, Rickie Fowler learned this lesson the hard way. During a pre-tournament press conference, officials interrupted proceedings to ask Fowler to turn his cap around before continuing. The young star quickly complied, looking slightly embarrassed by the public correction.

The rule applies equally to patrons, players, and even guests in private areas. Augusta National views proper hat etiquette as essential to maintaining the tournament’s dignified atmosphere.

As for us, we love this ruling. Have never liked that look from the beginning!

Sort of funny, but we've never seen any rodeo contestants, out of the arena, wearing a baseball cap backwards. Guess it just not part of that western lifestyle/sport. However, we have seen a number of young rodeo fans in the bleachers wearing it that way. One rodeo clown made a joke at a rodeo about seeing a guy wearing his that way (backwards).

At the Masters, not a single fan was wearing a baseball cap backwards. Then again, it a fan rule/policy that they can't!

Nice and refreshing not to see any tattoos on players.
