More than 600 immigration arrests in January - as government expects rise in deportations

North Georgia there is a huge battery plant going up supposed to bring in 2500 Koreans.

Way I see it is Geroge Carlon was right, minus the cuss words, lol " Its a club and you ain't in it".
I mainly just use these discussions to vent my frustrations with isolation and all the sighs of the end of Western civilization.
I believe that we have already deported those Koreans back home to Korea , @Marie Mallory . What I read about it was that everything passed for approval because it was supposed to bring in great new jobs for local people, but instead, they built the plant and brought in the Koreans. I think we have information here about that somewhere. I will look.

It is in this thread, read post #29. I believe this has to be the same factory.

They were planning on another plant in N.E. Georgia. Not sure what is happening with that one now, its near one of my daughters house. She was concerned about the air and water pollution it would bring to their city.
We haven't talked about it in a while, I'll ask her tomorrow.
