Microchipping

Do your pets have a microchip?
My pet dog has a microchip but saying that he never runs away if I leave him outside on the front garden with the gate open by accident he will cry at the door to let him back in the house.

But it's a really good idea to get your pets microchipped it lets vets know where the pet is registered too.

Yes. Since I adopted most of my pets from the animal shelter, they were already microchipped when I brought them home. Most animal shelters in my area microchip the animals before they let them leave with their humans. By doing this, the shelters know if a person dumped the animal at another shelter after the fun of having a pet, or cuteness of the pet wore off. People always love little puppies and kittens, but sadly they change their minds after the little animal outgrows that cuddley stage.

My dog is not microchipped, but she is an indoor dog. We go out under the carport, but she never goes more than a few feet from me. If I had a dog that ran free, I would have it microchipped.
