Do your pets have a microchip?
My pet dog has a microchip but saying that he never runs away if I leave him outside on the front garden with the gate open by accident he will cry at the door to let him back in the house.

But it's a really good idea to get your pets microchipped it lets vets know where the pet is registered too.

Yes. Since I adopted most of my pets from the animal shelter, they were already microchipped when I brought them home. Most animal shelters in my area microchip the animals before they let them leave with their humans. By doing this, the shelters know if a person dumped the animal at another shelter after the fun of having a pet, or cuteness of the pet wore off. People always love little puppies and kittens, but sadly they change their minds after the little animal outgrows that cuddley stage.:(

My dog is not microchipped, but she is an indoor dog. We go out under the carport, but she never goes more than a few feet from me. If I had a dog that ran free, I would have it microchipped.
