Marketplaces

Have you ever tried selling on Marketplaces, such as Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree and eBay?

I have tried them all.. Facebook Marketplace is the worst I have been messed around so many times saying they will collect the item but never turn up.

I haven't used any, but my youngest son is a wizard with Facebook Marketplace at least. He sells recreational equipment as well as trailers and heavy equipment on Marketplace. He is very successful at it and as far as I know, has never been ripped off...although it would be difficult to walk away with a bulldozer without paying for it

Call me old fashioned if you wish, but I prefer to look people in the eyes whether I'm buying or selling something. Specially if it costs more than $10.
