In an unprecedented move in the Middle East, Israeli jets have struck Hamas leadership in the capital of Qatar. At least two Hamas leaders were killed in the strike. These men were leading the peace negotiations with Israel and the U.S. regarding the end of hostilities in Gaza and the release of hostages. These men were also leading very opulent lives while orchestrating Hamas terrorism from what they deemed "a safe location". It is suspected that President Trump signed off on the strike, as he had given warning that the Hamas leadership was being obstinate regarding peace terms offer by the U.S. This will undoubtedly set peace negotiation on its ear and upset many in the Middle East, as Doha has always been viewed as a neutral site where negotiation could safely take place similar to Geneva in Europe.
