Which side of this argument were you on? I was with Joe on this one ,not all the way but mostly. I didn't care for Mr. Good Night, And Good Luck Murrow.

@galty , you don't have a comment or opinion on this?
Seems we are living the warning Joe gave us.
First off I am a friend of Israel, but not some who want to change us, not all groups of any political or religious persuasion are positive.
Most alphabet groups are negative.

I don't think America is any of her bizwax, we have a culture.

Dont know.

Am a admirer of his actress daughter Zoe Wanamaker

She was 3 years old when the family fled to England.

Loved this quote on her bio.

Quote

  • Zoë Wanamaker did finally become a British citizen in 2000 after being notified that she would be made a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2001 Queen's New Years Honours List for her services to drama, which she received from the Queen at Buckingham Palace. As a US citizen, she would only have been eligible to receive an honourary CBE awarded by the foreign secretary.
  • She was born in New York but grew up in England after her father was blacklisted during the McCarthy HUAC hearings.

I remember my mother watching the Army-McCarthy hearings on TV. I didn't understand it at the time. Also remember celebrating May Day with a big maypole in the school auditorium. I think it was 1st grade. It used to celebrate the coming of spring. Then it became associated with labor unions, which McCarthy claimed were headed by Communists. For whatever reason, we stopped celebrating it here for the most part.

I was going to post a video of a song called "May Day" by some old friends of mine from Canada. I know there's one on YouTube as I've see it before.

But when I searched for "Saga Live in Bonn, May Day", all I found was a bunch of protest videos against you know who...

Oh well... Happy May Day, y'all.
