Can I make a special request? If possible, could you extent the five minute Edit Time Limit Timer to ten, or even better, fifteen minutes? I can't see very well, and I aways make typos. Sometimes when I get more wordy, I need more editing time. Ten or fifteen minutes should give me enough time, and it would save me time later adding "Edit: Reason."

Grazie Mille!

Yes, I can edit anytime too, that's not the issue though. What I'm talking about is the notice on the lower right that says "Last edited" and the time if you edit the post five minutes after you post it.

Example:
"Last edited: Wednesday at 7:38 PM"

Huh? I don’t understand. Are you talking about what the current time is? Smithy’s time on his forum won’t match the current time in in many locations; time zones and all that. I noticed the current postings of the day, change to be “yesterday’s postings” in the forum sometime later on in the day. Did I say that right? Is everyone confused now? :D

Thanks... I'll test it right now.

Edit at 6 minutes after posting. It still shows the same thing, "Last edited: 1 minute ago."

So don't worry about it, I'll just have to be more careful and double check my typing. The reason I asked for that is because the whole point in timing edits like that is because many people (NOT HERE) have been known to post something and if anyone calls them out on it, they change it and say "I didn't say that." I just don't want anyone to think I would do that. Specially over typos, which do a lot of.

If you click the “edit silently” or “clear last edit information” after editing a message, it won’t display the last time frame that you edited the message. This works if you’re just posting a new topic or post and made a typo or error & would like the timeframe removed.😁

Where? I don't see those options...

According to xenforo.com, those are Moderator options, and that is most likely why I don't see them.
