I am trying to save trees from vines that has killed many but for last 27 years I've been clearing vines that are destroyin g out little forest here.
So far I can honestly say I've saved hundreds of trees.
When we moved here I was out here in the woods alone when Jake worked. So I found something to do with my time to keep my mind off the isolation.
At the time I had 2 cats, 4 dogs a horse and a donkey, my donkey would try to help me pull vines. haha.
I walk every day for exercise, now that I have an obsession with vines I stop more if I see one, so Jake reminds me it's not vine pulling time.

I was just watching a video about the medicinal properties of some of these vines that grow in the southeast past of the United States, and this really sounds to me like some of these vines you have described. It might be that you can use the roots for your arthritis and joint pain, @Marie Mallory ?

Yvonne I really am going to look more into this later. I hear there are lots of weeds we can eat, like acorns for making bread.
