It's about warrantless searches of your land outside the walls of your home.

Proposed Law Would Get Rid of ‘Open Fields’ Doctrine in Michigan

The proposed Michigan law would require warrants or permission for the DNR or other State agents to come onto your land.
 
I feel really bad for the youth if things don't change they will be the ones to pay the most.
 
I don't know if we have open fields doctrine here or not. I think we have some form of that though, since the Troopers do seem to have the right to "trespass" in pursuit of criminals.
