Debt

Unfortunately yes, once I quit my job as a programmer to look after my mother full time as her caregiver I went from making extremely good money with a savings account and zero debt at all to making no money for a couple of years until I got certified as a caregiver, and in that time I went through my savings and got into debt just from expenses from caregiving and trying to keep up with bills and car payments and things, so yes, I got into debt and bad luck, and even once employed again as a certified caregiver, I only get to charge for 26 hours a week even though it's a 24/7 job, so I don't earn much money and don't get to clear that debt very quickly. It's been a long, long process to get out of.
