This is definitely AI, and the picture of Elon Musk is AI generated as well. Anyone who has ever listened to Elon speak knows that he stops, stutters, and has a lot of trouble just getting sentences out, because he is autistic and it is hard for him to express himself. This video looks like just what you said, @Jacob Petersheim , an AI version of Musk with a script that someone has read.I'd seen this, but it feels like some AI-generated thing reading a script to me. Not that the content can be discarded and ignored, but do we think this is really genuine?
Home Depot nationwide seems to be managed better than Lowe's. One of my sons dealt with Lowe's at a professional level ad he said the management is terrible and always want the cheapest even if it doesn't satisfy the customers or the employees. Lowe's here has started requiring scanning of an ID to get the veteran's discount, so I now use Home Depot who is satisfied with just showing an ID.This is definitely AI, and the picture of Elon Musk is AI generated as well. I don’t know how McDonalds is doing, but we go to Lowe’s and Home Depot when Bobby needs parts for some project, and they seem to be doing just fine, so I am skeptical about the video content also. Here in Huntsville, everything seems to be going the same as usual, with some businesses closing and new ones opening up, like always.

Hmmm... He is the richest man in the world. He could save those businesses and make every penny back in no time at all. Besides, if it wasn't for him and his RepubliCon friends the economy wouldn't be in a downturn.
I haven't seen it here yet. Alaska tends to trail the rest of the country on these things by a year or so. Lowe's and Home Depot still seem to be quite busy and construction is still going pretty strong. The Democrats have found the key to attacking Trump now. The shutdown put the brakes on the economy just as it was getting going in recovery from the previous years. The shutdown took 1% to 1 1/2% from GDP growth and added millions to delayed government projects. It appears the Democrat leadership is willing to destroy the country to get to Trump, so expect them to do the same again in January when the CR expires. They believe they can rebuild the nation in a Lenin-style remake. We'll see what happens, but it is so sad that patriotism in any form has gone from the old Democratic Party.
