Canadian Meatwagons Fail To Impress Consumers

Canada wants to be more self-sufficient in the face of tariffs intended to balance trade and force cooperation. So far, not so great!

Rumors online are saying that the meat destined for consumers are being unwrapped and packaged for restaurants after being shipped, and older meat was being packages into the packages destined for consumers to make greater profits. I have no idea why the meat was in open containers, but this could be one explanation.

I already knew this, I smell chicken or beef cooking now and it smells nothing like the meat decades ago.
I try to get my protein from other sources like beans, nuts and dairy like yogurt. I never was that fond of meat even when it was real.

I was an ovo-lacto vegetarian for several years, but went back to meat when my wife first got pregnant as it is too hard to get adequate nutrition for a pregnant woman (IMO) without some meat in the diet. I have read other claim that the meat in the food chain is compromised. We get a lot of our meat either home-raised or from the wild ecept beef, which comes from a local butcher. Nobody pregnant here either:rolleyes:
