Canada has a lot of issues these days that look a lot like Europe's but with their own spin.

One of these is in the socialized health care system in the face of its own flavor of mass immigration. So much has come in from all castes of South Asia that the racist-flavored "Operation Currybomb" is pretty casually tossed around.

We see it directly here in Michigan, since Ontario is a gateway for both South Asian and Middle Eastern immigration into the US.

I remember the mass exodus of doctors and nurses to the U.S. when they nationalized the healthcare system. Canada lost thousands or tens of thousands medical professionals when they reorganized the healthcare system. Medicaid has a similar effect on the U.S. system, but it hasn't quite reached the extent of what has happened in Canada.
