I just called the sheriffs office here to as about a 'Neighborhood Watch Meeting'.
I guess I forgot to hang up because after ghubby and I discussed things the phone said, " if you'd like to leave a message". I bet he thought we need more than a neighborhood watch meeting,
I set one up about 16 years ago. We had it on the corner here and ask everyone to bring their own chairs, it worked out fine and everybody came, about 30 people.
It is also a good way to meet your neighbors , some of us since have passed and many more have moved in.
