Adult coloring books have become really popular, and they come in regular books that people can color with, using colored pencils, crayons, pastels, and whatever other ways they like to color.
There are also a lot of online coloring apps now, and the best one that I have found is an app called Pigment. My avatar right now is a castle picture that I colored using the pigment app, but they have hundreds of pictures of all types for people to color. There are also blank pages and many artists just use the Pigment app to paint their own pictures, and there are some amazing artists that use this app.

I like it because it is relaxing, and you can choose just about any kind of picture that you can think of to color, easy or complicated. You can also upload your own pictures to Pigment and color those. I colored an old black and white photo that was taken back in the early 1940’s of the old ranch house my folks lived in when I was born, and it turned about amazing.

I love to color but hard on my neck. I need new books. I like actual scenes vs scribble art and Itty bitty lines.

One of the things I love about online coloring, is the versatility, not only of pictures to color, but also the different types of coloring methods. Instead of just using regular crayons or pencils, there is the choice of using paints, with effects that come out like oil paint, airbrush, or water color brushes, and you can paint the exact same picture and have it come out totally different by using a different coloring style.

I usually try to color for a while before bed at night because it relaxes me, and when I go to bed, sometimes I am still coloring the picture in my head, trying out different colors and effects mentally.
I have discovered that sometimes, I even paint in my dreams now, and I like that .

When I was growing up, I was always drawing and painting and coloring. As an adult, I had an Artex paint set, that was like paint with a ball point tip on the container, so you could actually draw and paint with it, sort of like using a colored pen. I used to decorate the kids clothes and put their names or pictures on them.
Eventually, I just stopped doing it, and now it is enjoyable to be finding that artistic part of me again.

I don't think that is my style, but I won't a Photochopping Contest with this image.

This is Adrian Smith, one of the three guitarists in Iron Maiden, and that is my face... Of course, the original image was much larger and better quality. When I registered on the Seniors Forum, Paco Dennis asked if that was me and I was in shock... I hadn't seen that image since about 2003 or 2004. He said he saw it on Fakebook, which I haven't been to hardly at all for about the same amount of time.

I sometimes visit garden centres and they have coloring books in stock I have always been tempted to buy one.
I will have another browse when I next go to my local garden centre.

It would be nice to color when sitting outside on the decking chairs and table relaxing listening to the birds.

I never liked coloring, even when I was a kid and liked drawing, coloring was the most boring part for me.

Pigment has a really nice new coloring book and I like it a lot ! It is old vintage things, like camera, old radios, sewing machines, and more, and it combines them with flowers in a beautiful setting to paint. I just finished this one of the old treadle sewing machine , and I will be doing more from this book.

The newest thing that Pigment has to paint, is a book called “Paint the Classics”, and it has paintings by Monet and also by Van Gogh. I decided to try painting one of the Monet ones of the old fortress at Antibes. I looked for the original online to see what colors Monet used, but I didn’t find this exact painting, so I just used my imagination to color it.
