For anyone interested in medical issues, I would recommend this. It is a tale of antibiotic resistance and a real-life drama. My brother-in-law and I were discussing bacteriophages some time ago. He is/was a pharmacist who specialized in antibiotic stewardship. He is retired now, as am I, but we discuss these things that few other people understand. Anyway, he attended a talk given by the authors of this book and got a signed copy, which he has lent to me and which I intend to return to him when I next see him in a couple weeks.

The book is written in language most people can understand and explains some of the issues in a way most who are at all interested in the subject can relate to.
