    It is overcast today and in the 30's f. I was hoping to see the blood moon tonite to show to family. I have only seen one a couple of times.

    Today was the last day of driving my hubby to the clinic for treatments after more than 2 months, 7 days a week. I told him and my daughter to go to their weekly brunch and I went to the barn and then came home and took a nap.

    I am waiting for tomorrow. Supposed to be 51F for one day and then back down into the cold. Today might make it to 31f, close to Kryng's temp.

    Do you like to garden ?

    Last year my daughter took pole beans still up on the fence and just replanted them in the spring and they grew. But it wasn't a horrible winter that year. They were her roommate's project and the girl just quit. People find that gardening is not just plant and harvest. Who knew?

    Seasons

    We usually have five seasons here in Wisconsin. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Mud Season. Mud season is usually March and beginning of April. Don't like it. Spring and Fall are toss-up favorites. Much to love about both. Different work schedules. :rolleyes:

    Oh yes. Our farm store sets up the seed shelves right at the beginning of February to dream with. I bought some more zinnia and morning glory seeds at the dollar store yesterday. I usually save those but didn't last year when I thought I would cut back. :rolleyes:

    Uhmmm prices never really come down on most things. Even Walmart's price drops are fake. My daughter just noticed this at her store. They jack up the prices and then drop them. They can blame the tarrifs but most have not actually had effects yet.

    I called because my daughter's furnace was not working. It needed a new thermostat apparently. But the tech replaced an entire automatic zonal control system that has not worked for 15 years and the bill today is $2000! I just called and told the girl I wanted them to take it out. Wonder how...

    Every time I go back to a place of my youth I am disheartened by the change. Glouchester Island (off Mass) was a favorite with building only allowed in the towns. Never along the sea side. Now the whole island is ringed with houses. The buildings in town are sometimes a foot apart. I guess...
