I steadfastly refuse to call this country the 'United Kingdom' or 'UK'. I know that geographically there is a difference but to me, the country is 'Britain' because it is NOT united and never has been. It is a divided nation. I always wanted to visit or even live in Canada, but I am now hearing that you can have your Internet access withdrawn if you criticise their Government. Also, in Australia, voting is compulsory and you are fined if you don't comply, thus undermining the meaning of democracy. Dark days indeed...- MamaFrankie
