    The contractor who did my fence stopped by Thursday just to say hello. He cut down a tree that was interfering with the electric lines the next day. That'll teach him. ;)

    I saw this happen once before here with temps fluctuating around freezing. It snowed, then turned to light rain, then the temps dropped again, and ice formed on top of refreezing snow.

    Not sure what happened overnight. At first glance this morning it looked like snow. Instead, about a half inch of ice. All over the ground, including the street out front. Nothing stuck to the trees (thank you!). They are predicting a little snow throughout the day today.

    They claim the humidity will reach 17% today around 3 pm. :oops: Must be near a record for here. Static electricity in the basement is unreal. It was a 2-dryer-sheet experience with the clothes dryer. You have to pry the clothes apart if you don't use a dryer sheet on normal days in winter.
