    The low Sunday night was 40F. Turned the heat back on. Otherwise, we are in the midst of a surface drought. I have mixed feelings. No shortage of well or lake water, but the grass/weeds have stopped growing. :)

    (4/21/26) Tuesday A third baby bluebird showed up. I think that's all. The female was there too, but left just before I got the camera going. Yesterday one of the little ones took a bath in the red jar lid. So cute. 😍 Sorry for the poor quality. Camera phone has a "fake" zoom. :(

    Last thing you've done when offline?

    String trimmed around the fence and trees. I can't get used to not having extension cords to drag around. The battery lasted all the way around the fence and still had more juice left. My arms didn't do as well. Out of shape over the winter.

    Yes. The female builds the nest all by herself. Occasionally the male will bring a pine needle, but she puts it where it belongs. In fairness, the males do more than their share when it comes to feeding the little ones.
