    They managed to get rid of the geese after they made the nest into sections and a ravel came along and stole the goose egg. Now the ospreys are coming back, so it looks like they will have their nest again this year. Here is one of the ospreys, sitting near the nest.

    It very likely is a Canadian goose. Sandpoint is in north Idaho, and about 60 miles south of Canada. They are going to have to figure out how to get the geese out of the osprey nest, or there will not be any baby ospreys this year , either.
