No, it is not wrong to want your people back. It is all a quandary in the Middle East, where so many are taught to hate from early childhood. I doubt any more hostages will be released since they are the only bargaining chips that Hamas has. I thought we were on the way to a solution, but it looks like that may not be the case. Trump has always been so pro-Israel, I found it interesting that he and Netanyahu are not on the same page any more. I think the Israeli PM thought Iran was going to be destroyed by the U.S., but Trump left them an open door if they gave up the nuclear enrichment. Iran has now stated emphatically that they will never give up the prospect of nuclear weapons. The bomb and the Straits of Hormuz are the only bargaining chips Iran has, and apparently they now have some encouragement from China, Russia, or both to continue on the nuclear path. You can hear whatever you want to hear depending on where you look.

I had a point which I didn’t make very well. That point is that no one really knows what has gone on between Trump and Netanyahu. Every outlet is giving an opinion of what they want it to be and we can all find something that supports ours.
I doubt that there is any serious disagreement between the two leaders. Israel has to do something that Trump doesn’t want to be associated with. It happens.
Actually, I don’t think there’s much interest here in news or politics. It’s a very nice forum with a great owner and some very nice posters. I hope it grows.
I only gathered there was a problem since I saw the report that the intended and scheduled trip by Vance was diverted. That kind of thing doesn't usually happen if all is going well.I had a point which I didn’t make very well. That point is that no one really knows what has gone on between Trump and Netanyahu.
