For me, any kind of hard labor, as in: construction, roofer, tow truck driver. I worked for a fence building company for less than 1/2 day, before I quit. I worked in a Machine Shop once for a very short time using a drill press and steel cutter. Definitely not my type of career either. My toughest labor job/jobs were in warehousing and shipping. I found out very, very fast that I simply wasn't built (body wise) for hard labor jobs.
Now, sitting at a desk and using a computer for Purchasing and Inventory Management...........definitely my type of work. Before using a computer, I was typing out purchase orders on an electric typewriter and doing inventory on 3 x 5 index cards. When I started using a computer, I loved it. Driving a forklift and loading trucks, not bad, but still not office work.
I also loved working as a Stockroom Supervisor for an electronics manufacturer (computer builder) and learned a tremendous amount about electronic parts. Back in the early 80's, there was still OJT (On The Job Training) and that's how I learned. Was in Emergency Medical for a few years (ambulance driver/attendant), but got tired of all the blood and hours.
What about you?
